What is F.R.O.G Time? FROG Time is a weekly program at WFUMC created for kids ages K-5th grade to escape screen time and online school, get outside in the fresh air, read together, discuss God's word, and be around other kids in a safe environment. We will meet each week at the WFUMC Prayer Garden where we will read a book and Bible verse together, have discussion, go on a campus hike, and play games and make crafts related to the book.
A few of the book titles may seem a bit young for some kids at first glance, for example, "Goodnight Moon." Please don’t let that stop you from signing up an older child, because we will be taking a special spiritual look into each of these books and will have discussion questions for all ages of children to engage in. Kids are invited to discover things about these popular books they might have never known.
Each week of FROG Time will focus on a different book and theme. The same book is offered both Monday and Wednesday to give more children an opportunity to participate.
Kids must be signed up in advance, as we can only have 10 kids per session. We ask everyone to please wear a mask and we will practice social distancing. There will be some active games to all kids to run around, so please have them wear appropriate footwear. Should the weather become an issue we will notify those who have signed up via email.
We pray this opportunity is a blessing to families!
