Pumpkin Patch Palooza Saturday, October 5th, 2019!

It's Pumpkin Patch time again, so we're calling for "all hands on deck"! The following signup areas offer a broad variety of ways you may help out. Please look over the areas listed below, and indicate any items you can bring, and any areas you can volunteer to help with.

General comments: The event itself runs from 12 noon to 4 pm. If you wish to sign up to help in an area, PLEASE INDICATE IN THE COMMENT SECTION HOW LONG YOU ARE WILLING TO WORK: Please write in "first shift" that would be from 11:30 - 2:00 pm; "second shift" which is from 2 pm to 4:30 pm; or "full shift" which would be the entire time from 11:30 to 4:30. We intend to have a relief team available so workers may have a break during a full shift.  (You will be able to see the comment section on the next screen AFTER you click the signup box.)

Donated items such as candy, prizes, etc may be placed on the basement counter no later than 9/29/19. This gives us time to purchase any items we may still be missing.

Event T-shirts will be available in a variety of sizes, (first come, first served). A donation of $10 per shirt is suggested.

Friday, October 4th at 4 pm will be our pre-setup time. Helpers will be needed to get the picnic tables, prepare the areas for the events, and decorate. Saturday, October 5th is the actual event date, and morning preparations will begin at 9 am. Tear-down after the event will occur immediately after the close, and everyone is encouraged to help so we can finish quickly.

If you intend to bring produce, please indicate in the comment section what you will bring. We understand that available produce will vary with our season's weather conditions, but just list what you believe you should be able to bring, such as: tomatoes, peppers, apples, zucchini, squash, pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks for shocks, indian corn, canned goods such as sauerkraut, applesauce, tomatoes, salsa, jams, honey, etc; or baked goods. (Note: The food stand will be providing pies for sale by the slice and whole, so no need to bring pies for the farmer's market area.)

For specific questions, you may contact the chairperson, Shannon Landkammer at 507-217-3962, or games leader Kimberly Ecker at 507-317-8788. Signing up on this site greatly helps us plan the event. Thank you very much for donations and your time. See you on October 5th!

Date: 10/05/2019 (Sat.)
