VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

AB Band November 2019

Volunteers are needed!

We still need a few volunteers for the Thanksgiving game at Westford (11/28) and the Quincy Parade (12/1).

Thanksgiving Game @ Westford - Volunteer Report Time: 7:30 a.m. -7:45 a.m.
The band room opens at 7:00 a.m., Sr. Ceremony 8:00 a.m. at the gazebo, buses roll at 8:30 a.m. The game starts at 10:00 a.m. We'll be returning to school around 12:30 p.m.

Quincy Parade - Volunteer Report Time: 8:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
The band room opens at 9:45 a.m., buses roll at 10:30 a.m., parade steps off at 12:30 p.m. We'll return after the awards ceremony and should be back around 5:30 p.m. Please bring a bagged lunch.

Volunteer assignments will be sent Wednesday morning (11/27).

For away events we ride 3 to a bus; for home events we walk with the band to and from the field; for parades we walk with the band. Chaperones help all the students and assist with the instruments, uniforms, and snacks.

Uniforms - Pre-Event

ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLIER than band report time and provide uniform support prior to parade, football game, or competition. You do not have to work the actual event. If you want to also work the event, please sign up also as a chaperone for the event.

Snack Van Driver

Drive your vehicle filled with drinks, snacks, and other supplies to and from event. For parades your vehicle MUST be able to hold passengers in addition to snacks, drink containers, etc.

Uniforms
