Sign up to chaperone the band, help with uniforms, snacks, instrument logistics, and trucks for their events in October! All music parents are welcome! Please go to the ABFOM website for detailed descriptions of roles and duties.
***When signing up, please sign up using your LEGAL NAME AS SHOWN ON YOUR DRIVER's LICENSE as we must verify your CORI.
***Please note that ALL volunteers must have an updated, approved CORI processed prior to helping out at an event. The district is on a 3 year CORI cycle, and all volunteers in the district this year must have an updated CORI for the 2018-2019 school year. NO Exceptions. Any CORIs approved before January 2018 are now invalid. If you are not sure if your CORI is valid please contact Deb Trentsch or Jeanne Potter at the High School main office.
***If you need to apply or update a CORI, it can take 2 weeks for processing, so please plan accordingly. If you apply for a CORI one week, you may sign up for an event that is scheduled for at least two weeks later.***
**The times for the MICCA Districts in Wakefield (10/20) and MICCA Finals in Lawrence (10/28) events have yet to be announced. In the past, the volunteer time commitment for each of these events was approximately 7 hours.** The exact time for MICCA Finals is usually not confirmed until around the Monday before the event, so around 10/22.**
**The date for the first playoff game will be either 10/26 or 10/27 and has been included on this sign up with the date of 10/26. The exact date and time will not be confirmed until around 10/22.**
So that the band members can easily identify volunteers, you must wear khaki pants/shorts/skirt, comfortable shoes (sandals or flip flops are not recommended), and an ABFOM shirt. With cooler weather, an ABFOM jacket can also be borrowed.
