Community Harvest Dinner
It takes a lot of help and donations to make the Harvest Dinner a successful event. Those who enjoy cooking may want to provide pumpkin bars and stuffing (recipes provided, please contact the church office for the recipes 515-276-2818). Others may want to help underwrite the cost of a turkey or mashed potatoes. Donations of any amount are welcomed, but for reference, it will cost us $36 for a cooked turkey and $22 for a gallon of mashed potatoes. Donations should be made payable to and sent to St Paul.
We will also need helpers on the evening of November 7. We will need crews to prepare the meal before 5:00, crews to assemble meals and take them to the cars between 5 and 7, and a clean up crew. All the assembly will be done in the spacious Family Activity Center with social distancing. All workers will be required to wear a mask and gloves.
Remember the proceeds will go to help others in need our community. Spread the word, tell your family, friends and acquaintances to help our Membership and Evangelism committee get the word out!
