Kid Savvy Canine: Navigating the Relationship Between Children and Dogs

Do you have tools at your disposal to help keep everyone happy and safe when it comes to children and dogs in the home? This seminar, presented by Amber Todd, CPDT-KA and owner of Embarking the Pet Dog, will help you understand how your dog is communicating to you and strategies to build healthy dynamics between your 2 and 4 legged children.

We will cover topics such as:

• How Dogs Communicate Stress Through Body Language

• Communication Tools for Teaching Kids

• Safety Through Guided Interaction

• Management Strategies

• Games to Encourage Appropriate Interactions

• Group Activities to Create Calm
