Global Youth Service Day is the largest service event in the world! The Monroe County Youth Council, with support from the Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County and the City of Bloomington Volunteer Network, invites teens enrolled in any Monroe County high school to be a part of GYSD at hands-on volunteer projects based around poverty, mental health, and climate change at Youth Services Bureau, Hoosier Hills Food Bank Gardens, and Rev. Butler Park.
Don't wait to register! This year Global Youth Service Day registrations will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Service projects will close as they are filled and participation is limited (see shifts below). You are welcome to sign up for as many projects as you are committed to participating in.
