You may have heard the news about the leadership's plans to hire an Executive Director for HSGP! Well it’s true! We discussed it at two town hall meetings, in emails, and with several of you individually, and now we are making it official.

We are the first and only Humanist chapter in the country to have its own community center, and now we are embarking on another FIRST!

By choosing to professionalize, HSGP is poised to take the next big step for Humanism in Greater Phoenix and Arizona!

And we are dedicating an entire Sunday Speaker meeting to sharing with you how we plan to serve more of the humanist community. Don't worry, we will keep everything we love about HSGP.

Agenda outline:

First, after brief announcements, members of the Board of Directors will present the plan to hire an Executive Director, including our rationale, description of her/his duties and goals, process for hiring, and immediate and future benefits of having our own full-time ED, and how we will pay for it.

Next, President Chris Wojno and Vice-president Alex Zygmunt will talk about their (and our) vision for how we can expand our humanistic space and services for more of the increasing number of "nones" in the Valley and beyond, who are craving what we have for themselves and their families .

Finally, we will have plenty of time for Questions and Answers.

Bring your enthusiasm, your skepticism, your questions and your ideas. Let's talk!

Doors open at 9:00 am for optional buffet breakfast ($5 donation) and socializing. Presentation begins at 10:00 am.
