Hi Jeremy,
When you have an overnight or multiple day event we recommend choosing the one-time option at Step 3 and entering the start date and time for the event, leaving the end time empty. This way, email reminders for the event will go out before the start date and will include the details of when the event begins. To indicate that the event will last all weekend, or overnight, go back to *Step 1* and enter details in the text box. Be sure and click *Continue* at the end of *Step 1* to save changes.

Is it possible to End Date. Such as MM/DD/YY - MM/DD/YY

Hi Julie,
When you enter additional dates and times at Step 3, proceed to Step 4: Slots to assign the date and time to the item or volunteer needed for that date.

From your account, locate the sign up you wish to edit.

Go to Step 4: Slots, and check Edit next to the slot that is not showing for the date/time entered on Step 3. Click 'Edit Selected' at the top of the table.
Next to 'Apply to Date/Time' option, check the dates shown in the yellow highlighted box that are *not* displaying on the live view of your sign up. Click Update to save the changes.

After you complete this step, new dates or times will be displayed on the live sign up.

I added additional dates and they are listed in my edit lst but not on the calendar for people to sign up. How do I post those dates on the calendar so volunteers can sign up?

When creating a parent teacher conference sign up, you'll want to use the time slots "wizard."

Login with your email and password and go to the sign up you are creating.
Select the pencil icon to the right of the sign up and move to *Step 3 - Dates/times*.
You can choose the *Time Slot* option or if you have already added a date for your event, you can check the box: I need to enter more dates/times in addition to the ones above. You may also need to scroll to the bottom of Step 3 and click the 'Add Time Slots' button in the upper right of the 'Add New Date/Times' chart.

The next screen will allow you to enter the parameters for your shifts.
Enter the beginning date and ending date that you will need and if this is a one day event, enter the same date for the beginning and ending date. You will then check the days of the week that the time slots are needed. From there, enter the beginning time and ending time along with increments needed (For example, every 15 mins). The system will then populate the dates/times for you. If you have different time slots that still need to be added, you can do so by checking the box: I need to enter more dates/times in addition to the ones above.

Once you have added all dates/times to the sign up, move to *Step 4-Slots* to enter the sign up slot(s) and assign those slot entries to show for all dates/times or for selected dates/times.

I am trying to have parents sign up for parent teacher conferences on two different dates. I am unable to put both dates in. There is one slot per sign up. Help

Hi Carla,
You can create time slots in any increment by choosing Time Slots in Step 3. For an existing sign up, scroll down to the bottom and click the Add Time Slots button to the far right of Add New Dates/Times. The next screen will allow you to enter the parameters for your shifts. Is there a way to customize the time slots so they aren't in 5 minute increments? I know it's weird but I'm trying to get 12-minute increments.

Hi Sue,
Editing a slot for a specific date after people have signed up can be a little tricky. I have sent you an email so that I can help you more specifically. In general, to add additional slots, you can create a new sign up slot with the appropriate # wanted and assign it to the two dates by choosing 'Selected Dates.' For specific help with your sign up, you can always click "Help" at the top of the home page to contact our support team directly.

How do I increase the number of slots on a sign up? I have tried buy using the edit feature but it keeps telling me I can't delete a slot because someone has signed up. I only want to increase the slots on 2 of the sessions.

To locate an archived sign up, please go to SignUpGenius.com and log in. Scroll down your account page to "Sign Ups I've Created" and you will see the option to "View archived past sign ups also." Click "Edit" beneath the sign up on your account page and then go to Step 3:Dates & Times. Enter a new deadline date, or add future dates to the sign up. How can you get an archived sign up active again? I need the old times plus a new date and time.

Sarah -
You will add a new slot with the same name but a quantity of 1 (instead of 2). Instead of assigning this slot to All Dates you will assign it to Selected Dates. You can check the Date/Time combinations where this new slot should be displayed. I have a recurring sign up for 2 slots each week. I need to add a new time for the same days, but only 1 slot open for that new time (verses the 2 for the other time). How do I do this?

How can I edit the dates..I did a sign up for multiple months every Monday, then had to change the time slot. All my dates when to one date instead of leaving it listed as every Monday..so it showed 2/9 for like 12 weeks. I need to go back to listing Mondays (i.e. 11/3, 11/10, etc)
