Stations of the Cross - Friday, April 7

Our St. Francis Parish Lenten 2017 Overall Theme is:
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.”
(Mt 5:5)

The 6th Friday of Lent is April 7th, and, we need 14 persons, one for each station, to prepare and present a reflection for The Stations of the Cross at 7 pm Friday, April 7, 2017.  (You may also invite your spouse or child or friend to sign-up here to present a station with us!)     Write and read a reflection, a very short few sentence reflection (less than 2-3 minutes when it is read) on one single station at Stations of the Cross that evening.

Pick your favorite station by signing-up below here.

Does one of the following stations especially speak to your heart more than any other?   How does that station speak to your heart? You bring a wealth of life experience to this effort.  What is the Lord saying to your heart?    Perhaps reflect from the perspective of one of the other characters in the "station" story and in a modern context here in our world.   This effort is to be inclusive of a variety of parishioners who will offer simple reflections from the heart.

By Monday morning April 3rd please email me the text of your written reflection (just so that I have time to help you, if you would need any help).

Arrive at church on Friday, by around 6:40pm, before the stations start at 7 pm.   (The prayer service booklet will look like this.)
