2017-18 RMHS Music Boosters

The 33rd Annual Jazz in the Meadows

For more than 30 years, Rolling Meadows High School and its Music Boosters have hosted the Jazz in the Meadows festival.  The largest high-school jazz event in the Midwest, Jazz in the Meadows features more than 110 student performances on 8 stages and welcomes thousands of performers, family, friends and jazz-lovers to RMHS.

As our largest fund-raiser of the year, Jazz in the Meadows brings in the majority of the money used every year to support the orchestra, band and color-guard programs at RMHS, and WE NEED YOUR HELP to make this day a great success and run as smoothly as possible.

From directing buses in the parking lot to announcing each band as it competes to selling concessions to hungry festival attendees throughout the day, there are more than 130 volunteer spots to fill across 7 categories and many different ways that you can help out.  Please sign up wherever it is most convenient for you by clicking on any of the Tabs above or on the corresponding links below:

The Music Boosters hope that an adult from each orchestra, band and color-guard family will be able to volunteer at least 2 hours of service at Jazz in the Meadows.

If you have any questions about a specific position, please contact Tom Toussaint, our Volunteer Coordinator, at tomtoussaint@hotmail.com.

Thank you in advance for helping make the 2018 Jazz in the Meadows festival our most successful (and profitable) yet!
