Please join us for our 3rd Annual Saint Bridget Day of Service. Together, as members of the Saint Bridget community, we will be serving as part of our Lenten journey. Our goal is to truly live out the theme of this year's parish Lenten Retreat: Made for More! This special morning will begin at 8:30AM in the Saint Bridget School Gym (MPH) with coffee, doughnuts and an opening prayer. We will then break into teams to get the day rolling!
Who is Invited? Service opportunities are available for all ages- EVERYONE is welcome! Come alone and meet a new friend, come with a friend, or bring your whole family! If you are signing up as a family, please indicate in Comment section # of parents/children and ages/grades of children. This information will help us match your family to the most appropriate project. Parental guidance required for children under age 15.
How to Sign Up? Please sign up for one of three general categories (relationship building, gettin' down and dirty, or for the youngest families, staying on-site putting little hands to work). You will receive your site/job assignment that morning when you report for duty.
Items of note:
- If you have any special talents [e.g., gardening, cooking, mural drawing/artistry], are a Spanish speaker or learner, or possess any other interests/skills that you feel may come in handy, please note in the labeled Comment field. These comments can only be viewed by administrators so don't be bashful :-).
- There are some "down and dirty" off-campus opportunities that are weather dependent. If you choose that category and we have inclement weather, you may be asked to work indoors on-campus for the many needs of our church and school.
- If you have a physical limitation or special consideration, please indicate in Comment field or email one of the Coordinator's below...again, comments can only be viewed by administrator. We will do our best to place you accordingly!
- Parental guidance required for children under age 15.
