***** Please note, there will be no general admission.  Seating in the Studio is limited to approximately 30 people.  Only Candidates, their immediate staffers and signed up volunteers will be admitted.  Absolutely no campaign paraphernalia of any kind is allowed in the studio. *********

Note:  Because members of the public can submit questions by e-mail and phone during the broadcast, the reach of the program goes far beyond the studio audience. The broadcast will be posted on YouTube and the LWVFA's and AAUW of Virginia's websites. As a non-partisan event, it can be shown in high school government classes and other public arenas.

There will be 2. We will provide signs and stopwatches, but you may use cell phones to keep time, if you prefer. You will be seated front and center. We will do a training at 7:30.

Set Up
will be asked to assist the crew in setting up chairs. Tables will be placed by the crew. Also help place the tablecloths, notepad, pens, tent cards and water for the candidates on the tables.

Volunteers to direct parking outside studio
There is free multistory parking just behind Mom’s Organic on Eskridge Road. It is called Market Garage. There is also the Target Garage. Parking outside the studio is very limited, but you can drop things off. 2929 S. Eskridge Road, Fairfax, VA 22031,

Hand out / collect / runner for index cards for questions
Please team up and work out what seems most efficient. LWV will provide two baskets for the cards and pencils. Stand inside the entrance to the studio and hand them out. During the program, one may take the cards to the sorters or up to the moderator.

candidates sign in at table in the waiting room, please assist as needed. Candidates and attendees can pick up a snack and eat in the waiting room outside the studio. They will be coming no later than 7:45. They will need to be powdered by studio staff.

Clean Up
One please take responsibility for getting our table cloths and podium sign packed up and stowed in the car going back to the office. Others please help with loading chairs onto chair racks, cleaning up every scrap of food and water in the break room.
