4th and 5th Grade Circus Minimus Parents
CIRCUS MINIMUS IS COMING TO TOWN! From March 12th-23rd, the 4th and 5th grade students will be participating in Circus Minimus "Circus Around the World". Circus Minimus provides the ultimate project based learning experience. Each class picks one country and one circus act such as tumbling, juggling, clowning, partner acrobatics or balance. Students investigate the culture, history, cuisine, language and geography of the countries while learning the circus skills. The sessions are 45 minutes per day for two weeks culminating in two performances for the entire school and parents. Mrs. Slezak's class will be representing China and will be performing Partner Acrobatics. *All students will be performing.* Parent volunteers are VERY important in making this event a success. Feel free to sign up for more than one spot.
-If you can volunteer for Thursday run-through and one of the Friday shows it is preferred though not required.
-Decorating does not involve being creative. Just need hands to help hang things.
