Event: Interfaith Dinner and Workshop for Students and Adults
Students of different faiths, ages 14 to 20, will learn skills for finding common ground around shared values for the purpose of building collaborative efforts of social action for the common good. Dinner will be included in the program.
The community is invited to attend the SevenDays® Interfaith Dinner and Workshop to interact and learn skills for finding common ground around shared values on which to build collaborative efforts of social action. Values such as compassion, hospitality and caring for the Earth become cooperative service opportunities to engage across the boundaries of religious groups. The workshop will provide skills on how to encourage community members to work together through service projects, and bring people of different faiths together to take common action for the common good. Two concurrent sessions will be offered, one for students aged 14-20 and one for adults aged 21+.
