Tuggerah Lakes Mingara Parent Helpers
Regional Carnival 23rd - 25th February
TLMLAC would like to congratulate all our Region Qualifiers, we hope all the kids have a fun and positive weekend.
The Regional Carnival is run by volunteers, without volunteers our kids are unable to compete in a sport they love.
This Year, Tuggerah Lakes Mingara will supply parent helpers at the Track Marshalling Tent ( Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and supply helpers to set-up and pack up for all hurdle events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The Tuggerah Lakes Mingara Little Athletics committee will also be responsible for
- Giving out and recording what officials have walkies talkies over the weekend.
- Supplying x1 relay change person
- Taping the relay change areas prior to the relays on Sunday
- Organising field equipment at the start and end of each day.
Please take a look at the parent duties and write your name next to an event. If you could write your child's name in the comment box, that will help us identify who each parent is.
We ask that parents do a parent duty time slot for each child that competes. ie 2 children competing at the Regional Carnival = 2 parent duties.
We will endeavour to do our best to free up parents to watch their child/ren if there is a clash with duties and events.
Starting and finishing times stated for hurdle duties are an approximation, these may differ based on the carnival progression and how early we are allowed to set up hurdles.
