REGISTRATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, MAY 25TH, 2018 (late registrations will only be added to the electronic map)
The NPNA Yard Sale draws people from near and far and is a great way to get rid of clutter, meet some neighbors and make money. This event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the NPNA, helping pay for neighborhood projects. If you're planning on participating, help support your neighborhood association by registering early!
A $10 registration fee will get your home included on a hard copy & electronic neighborhood map with descriptions of your items for sale. For a $30 fee, you can place an ad for an organization or business along the boundary of the map. (Ads do not necessarily have to be regarding the yard sale.) You keep all the money you make at your sale. Your registration fee pays for the advertising and the rest goes into the NPNA fund to help pay for neighborhood projects.
Use this page to register & pay your fee electronically. Online registration/payment is strongly preferred as it saves NPNA volunteers a lot of time, thank you!
The NPNA provides a newspaper ad (MLIVE), enhanced ads on online garage sale listing sites, posts signs at the boundaries of our neighborhood, and distributes the neighborhood hard copy maps. Use this opportunity to get rid of a lot of cool stuff you no longer need. There are always hundreds of eager customers.
In addition to the $10 fee for registering your sale, you also have the opportunity to pay your $10 annual NPNA household dues at the same time if you'd like. All households in the Normal Park neighborhood are automatically members of the Normal Park Neighborhood Association (NPNA). The NPNA does not require dues from its members, but voluntary dues support NPNA events like the ice cream social, Halloween parade, and general meetings.
