Performance Dates: May 4, 5, 6 & 18, 19, 20, 2018
Open to ages 8-12 years old. No previous experience necessary.
Please Prepare: 32 bars of an up tempo Broadway song that best highlights your voice. Please bring your musical accompaniment on an electronic device. A speaker will be provided. No piano accompanist will be provided.
Bring a headshot and resume if available. Download the attached audition form and bring filled out to your appointment. Please reference the attached calendar for rehearsal and performance dates. Be honest about any potential conflicts. There is no fee to audition. If cast there is a $100.00 tuition fee. Some scholarships are available. Please note there is one day time school matinee.
PLEASE NOTE: The Dream Choir will only perform the opening and closing weekends of the production run. They are not performing the second weekend of performances.
Character: Children's Chorus-Dream Choir-This ensemble of young performers pop in and out of the world and story of Joseph. They sing along and break the fourth wall of the musical. They are featured in: "Close Every Door To Me",
Show Synopsis:
The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Joseph,his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged.
