A Unity of SA Annual Tradition  

All are welcome to attend the joyfully anticipated Unity of SA Annual CommUNITY Picnic. The picnic will be at La Escondida Celebration Center, 9888 Escondida Road, in Helotes, Texas 78023-9212. The date is Sunday, April 22, 2018, following the 11:00 a.m. service. We all look forward to this CommUNITY Celebration every year.

The newly remodeled La Escondida Celebration Center will provide us with plenty of space – the grounds are approx. 5 acres, with a 2,400 square feet pavilion with 6 bathrooms. Also available to us will be picnic tables and banquet tables for food and drink set up. The Berkleys are also providing ice, water, tea, and lemonade as well as plates, napkins, and eating utensils.

Be ready to enjoy their volleyball set-up, horseshoes, bean bag toss, and other games. There is a nature trail; just be sure to wear closed tennis shoes for this.

Please bring sunscreen, bug spray, and a side dish or dessert.

The main dish is brisket. Bring side dishes, preferably cold ones; such as potato salad, pasta, cold baked beans, veggie trays with extra carrots, Seven Layer Bean Dip, chips, and easy-to-eat desserts. 

Please bring to the Community Center all side dishes by 11:00 a.m., Sunday, April 22, at 11:00 a.m. so Dutch or Candy Berkley can transport them to La Escondida Celebration Center and have them set up when you arrive.
