Flower Delivery Folks
The Flower Guild creates lovely arrangements for our communion table almost weekly. The funding comes from individuals who use a different SignUpGenius and donate in honor of or in memory of a person or occasion. The flowers present in worship are then taken to someone who cannot be with us. Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month and three white roses, representing the Trinity, are taken to a person receiving home communion which is served by the Deacons.
Only flowers that are in plastic containers are to be delivered. If they are in a special vase or container, that should not be taken out of the building as sometimes the people arranging use their own containers.
Please check with Joanie after the 10:30 worship service to see where they are to be delivered or, if she is not there, please ask the pastors where flowers should go. They do not need to be delivered on Sunday but early in the week is best so that they remain fresh. We hope that by utilitzing this on-line tool, it will be more convenient for all of you to designate a time that will work for you.
Bless you for providing this ministry for our members at home!
