We are doing Troop Challenge PIRATE style this year.
The Troop Challenge Youth Staff have been working hard for many months to make this an amazing event.
We will be meeting at the church at 8:00a on April 28th, loading up patrol gear (tents and cooking equipment) and personal gear then heading to CAMP HERMS. The staff at Troop Challenge will not give you your campsite location until your full patrol is there so we will be traveling to camp as patrols, this includes bringing all your gear with you in the car you are traveling in.
Thanks in advance for all the help driving patrols to and from this event.
Lunch is provided by the camp so you will just need to bring your mess kit for this meal.
As is the tradition, the makings for dinner are also provided and the quality of your dinner will be a product of how well you demonstrate your scout skills at camp and your own cooking creativity. "Be prepared" to cook the food you earn whatever that may be the fit the dish the choice is up to you. Don't forget Troop Challenge Staff will be stopping by to check out your dinner and you can score extra points for a meal well prepared.
Breakfast Sunday morning is the responsibility of the patrols so make sure to plan a great meal. This can be a cooking opportunity for rank or MB.
