American Chemical Society
ACS will host a Kids Zone teach-in tent at the 2018 March for Science on Saturday, April 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the grounds of the Washington Monument on the National Mall. We need your help to teach children and adults about chemistry!
Volunteers can sign up for one role during each of the two shifts, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. and/or 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., to help with hands-on science activities, welcoming guests to the Kids Zone, conducting exit surveys, and recruiting march-goers to the tent. The first shift of volunteers will set up and run the activities until 10:30 a.m. and the second shift of volunteers will run and breakdown the activities, and walk the boxes of supplies to a vehicle offsite.
If you weren't able to volunteer last year, you won't want to miss your chance this time!
Volunteers will receive final logistics the week of the March. If you have questions in the meantime, please contact [email protected].
