PSSA testing will start this week at school and end the week of April 25th. The Staff Appreciation committee thought it would be nice to provide the teachers with a little "pick me up" during this timeframe since they will be spending a lot of time inside the classroom and possibly extra hours before and after school. We have decided to put together a "PSSA Power Up" snack cart that will be left in the faculty lunch room for the teachers to grab and go snacks as needed. The cart will be placed in the lunch room on Monday, April 16th and left out as long as we have snacks to fill it with during the testing timeframe. We are looking for volunteers to provide single serve snacks and drinks - chips, pretzels, crackers, candy, soda, small bottles of water, etc - Items that could be bought in bulk at Costco for example would be perfect. (We are not looking for items that need to be eaten on a plate or in a bowl or need to be refrigerated or heated - the idea is the teacher/staff member can grab the item and bring it back to their desk to eat at their leisure.) Donations can be sent in with your child or dropped off at the office starting this week. Please label the item with your last name, child's teacher and "Snack Cart" so the office knows what it is for. Any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thanks so much!
