2018 Countryside Color Run / Walk

UPDATE: OUR T-SHIRT DEADLINE HAS PASSED. ANY VOLUNTEERS THAT SIGN UP AFTER THIS POINT MAY NOT GET A SCHOOL SHIRT (LIMITED QUANTITIES AVAILABLE). PLEASE WEAR A SHIRT THAT YOU DO NOT MIND GETTING DIRTY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

Hello Countryside Families!

Our 2018 Color Run is the biggest event of the year! While we hope many of you will participate in the Run / Walk, we will also need a lot of volunteers to make sure everything runs smoothly both in the planning and the day of the event.

Registration begins at 8 am and the event starts at 9 am. Day-of volunteers are asked to arrive at Harrington by 7 am.

Please pitch in wherever you can! Thank you!

Help get contacts for local businesses and ask for donations. Sell rotating banner ads on our Event Website and our Students’ Donation Website.

Packet and Rewards Distribution Coordinator

Responsible for getting the Donation Envelopes to the homerooms on or before the day of Kick Off and also distributing the rewards bags (t-shirts, dye packs, etc.) to students prior to the event.

Student Donations Coordinators (2)

Responsible for collecting the donation packets, verifying and entering money for each student on the Money Management Site.

Responsible for marking the area for the Color Blast Party with cones, flags and/or roping (50 ft perimeter around DJ)

Set up first aid station and make sure it's equipped with band-aids, antiseptic, etc.

Assist attendees with minor injuries; Some medical training preferred.

Volunteer Coordinator

Responsible for organizing the volunteers on the day of the event. Will be provided with a list of where the volunteers need to go, and will direct the volunteers to the right spot.

Responsible for arranging garbage cans and bags and picking up the empty color packets, garbage, cups, etc. It is advisable that someone bring a portable leaf blower to easily clean the dye off the participants and grounds.
