If you would like to deepen both your prayer life and your experience of Good Friday/Easter, be part of our annual Maundy Thursday/Good Friday Prayer Vigil. Our prayer vigil pray-ers will watch and wait with Jesus on the last night and day before he goes to the cross. The vigil will begin after the Maundy Thursday service is over (9:00 pm, March 29) and will end before the Good Friday service (4:00 pm, Friday, March 30)
In order to be sure the entire time is covered, you are asked to sign up for a specific hour or half-hour time slot when you will come to church and pray in the sanctuary.
You may choose to pray alone, as a couple, with friends, or with your family. The sacred space of the sanctuary will help settle your mind and heart. All that you need for a meaningful prayer time will be provided: Bibles, hymnals, devotion and prayer books, suggestions for prayer and objects to help you focus. You just bring an open heart and a commitment to spend quality time in conversation with God.
