Mitzvah Day 2018

(NO Sunday School at the JCC New Albany that day)
Collection: Please bring Children's Gently Used Books for the Read to Succeed Foundation and any size Gently Used or New Jerseys for Jerseys of Hope
On-Site Activities Include:
Take part in a fun-filled day of giving back - make dog treats for Pets without Parents, bake challah, pack sack lunches for the Friends of the Homeless, assemble "Bags of Hope" for Homeless Families Foundation, create art for Wexner Heritage House & Kensington residents, take part in Temple beautification projects in honor of Earth Day, Read to Rover, check out the Mitzvah Project Fair, donate blood at American Red Cross Bloodmobile* & more fun activities for all ages!
We are also offering Off-Site activities. These opportunities REQUIRE online sign-up due to capacities. Please sign-up below. Once you sign up, you will get more detailed instructions for the day of the event.
- New Albany Food Pantry (15 people)
- Ronald McDonald House (15 people)
- LifeCare Alliance/Meals on Wheels (10 small groups)
- Ohio House Rabbit Rescue (15 person limit per shift)
- Bikur Cholim - Kosher Kitchen Tour & project at Nationwide Children's Hospital (12 people)
