Garden Club Council

Arbor Day Volunteer Tree Workshop - Thursday, March 22

We're getting ready for our Arbor Day Celebration! Each year, the Garden Club Council donates tree seedlings to 5th graders at local area schools. This year, our tree workshop will take place on Thursday, March 22.

Co-chairs Ellen Davis and Joycelyn Dillon are looking for garden club council members to help bag the Kousa Dogwood saplings and prepare them to be delivered.

The workday will begin at 9:00 and will end around noon. This is a fun day! Volunteers will want to dress very casually and prepare to get their hands dirty while preparing the seedlings. You'll also want to bring gloves.

Questions? Contact Joycelyn Dillon at (336) 575-7216 or email her at
