40 Days for Life Spring 2018
What is 40 Days for Life? 40 Days of peaceful prayer and fasting outside St. Louis’ local abortion facility (Planned Parenthood at 4251 Forest Park Parkway). This spring, 40 Days for Life coincides with Lent.
Immacolata has “adopted”Tuesday, March 6, 2018 and we will be there 7am-7pm. This is our parish’s 11th 40 Days for Life prayer effort.
What will I do? Be present on the sidewalk and pray. That’s it!
No political activity is involved. Only peaceful prayer.
What support will be there for women/men facing crisis pregnancies?
*Free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds offered across the street
*Trained sidewalk counselors will provide free, practical assistance to women and men facing crisis pregnancies. *NEW* - - Stop by Our Lady of Guadalupe Convent across the street before or after your shift to warm up with hot coffee or quiet prayer at their Adoration Chapel.
Why should I go down there? Does my participation really matter? YES!
*Proven results : 13,998 lives saved worldwide
Many of our parishioners have witnessed lives saved here on the sidewalk!
How do I get involved?
Sign up in the back of church from Feb. 24 - March 4 or after all Masses the weekend of February 24/25 and March 3/4 or go to www.immacolata.org and sign up directly on the “40 Days” tab.
